BBQ Lobster with Harissa & Roasted Garlic Butter

Prep & Cook Time: 1 hour
Serves 4

2  Rock Harbour WholeCanadian Lobsters, thawed as per package instructions.

10 pcs – Garlic Cloves, Peeled

1 tbsp - Olive oil

1/3 bunch - Italian parsley, finely chopped

Lemon zest and juice from 1 lemon

2/3 cup – Butter, softened

2 tbsp - Harissa powder

Salt to taste


1.    In a small bowl mix garlic with olive oil and transfer to an oven safe dish, cover with tin foil and bake for 30-40min at 350°F

2.    In a medium sized bowl add parsley, lemon zest, butter, harissa powder and salt. Mix well.

3.    When the garlic is finished roasting, it will be very tender. You can use the side of your knife to turn it into a paste and add to your compound butter. Mix it all together.

4.    Remove lobster from the box and cut length wise in half. Optional step. Take a knife and gently cut into the claw, turn the knife to crack the shell and expose more meat from the claw

5.     Preheat your grill and keep it on high for 15 minutes.

6.    Spoon on a couple tablespoons of butter into the half shell and brush it all in. Place the lobster onto the grill.

7.    Allow the grill to heat the lobster for 10 minutes and squeeze the lemon juice on top to finish.
